A Note on Mental Health Information
Emotional Blueprint Academy provides mentorship, education, and reflective tools. We are not a healthcare provider, and our services are not therapy or medical treatment. The information you share with us is not covered by HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act). If you are in crisis, please contact a licensed professional or emergency services. We treat your personal reflections with discretion, but if your work requires clinical privacy protections, please use a licensed therapist.
When We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers — payment processors (Stripe, PayPal), email/SMS delivery (Twilio, SMTP providers), hosting (managed WordPress host), analytics. They access only what’s needed to perform their function.
- Legal requirements — if compelled by valid legal process or to protect rights, safety, and property.
- Business transfer — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may transfer with the business; we will notify you before this happens.
- With your consent — for any other sharing beyond the above.
Your Rights and Choices
- Access and update — view and edit your information in your account dashboard at any time.
- Delete — request deletion of your account by emailing us. We will erase identifiable data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. payment records).
- Export — request a copy of your data in machine-readable format.
- Unsubscribe — every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe link. Transactional emails (purchase receipts, session confirmations) will continue while your account is active.
- SMS stop — reply STOP to any SMS to immediately end Daily Stabilizer™ texts.
- Cookies — you can disable cookies in your browser; some features may not work fully without them.
Data Retention
We keep your information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. After account deletion, we retain anonymized usage data and legally-required records (such as tax-related transaction history for 7 years).
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encryption at rest for sensitive fields, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure; we will notify affected users promptly in the unlikely event of a breach involving personal data.
Children’s Privacy
Our services are intended for adults age 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us and we will delete it.
